We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Harvey Pekar’s new song “Crystal Starlings” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s new album The Astral We, being released on August 12th through Kentucky indie Little Heart Records.
Cleveland hardcore act Harvey Pekar is a perfect blend of punk, hardcore, rock, and intelligent lyrics with a just enough cynicism to perfectly embody their moniker. The band previously released their debut LP Upward, Not Northward on Escapist Records.
“Milk Tooth Monarchy,” the first single from The Astral We, is a perfect introduction to the band for new listeners, with equal influences of punk, metal, and rock. The band embraces all of their influences while never straying too far from mid-tempo hardcore they call home.
